A New Chapter: Welcome to Adopt-a-Dachshund!

If you've been with me for a while, you might remember this site as home to my handbags. Today, I'm so excited to share that we're turning the page on a brand new chapter, and it's one with a whole lot of heart (and a whole lot of dachshunds).

Why the Change?

For years, sewing has been my creative outlet, first handbags, and along the way, a handful of plush dachshunds made just for fun. I never expected those little dachshunds to take off the way they did, but once they found their way into your homes (and hearts), it was clear where my focus needed to be. So, after a lot of thought, I've decided to close the handbag chapter and dedicate this site entirely to the dachshunds I love making most.

Meet the New Adopt-a-Dachshund

This isn't just a new product line, it's a whole new way of experiencing what I do. Every plush dachshund on this site is handmade, one stitch at a time, and I wanted the site itself to feel like part of that story. Here's what you'll find:

• Monthly Litters — Every month, I release a fresh batch of dachshunds, available first come, first served until they're all adopted.

• One of a Kind — Made from the scrap fabric left over from other litters, these special pups are truly one-of-a-kind and are auctioned off weekly, with 50% of the proceeds going to an animal shelter in Atlanta.

• How to Adopt — A full rundown of how the process works, from release day to shipping to what comes with your new dachshund.

• About Me — A little more about my 30+ years of sewing, my family, and why this craft means so much to me.
